Mindset training for Kampiringisa Rehabilitation Center and Nabyewanga through NFLC Project II

NFLC trains juveniles from the Kampiringisa Rehabilitation Center and a team from Nabyewanga on Mindset change, community development, and life style (pioneering spirit) through NFLC project II.

Mr. Okwaja John Bosco, Principal NFLC closed the training highlighting its importance in improving their income and added that there should be a change in their lives after one year of training.

He highlighted some key issues;

  1. Urged the participants to select leaders, not because they have lots of money or politicians but those who are available for them.
  2. To choose the appropriate enterprise they will manage.
  3. Commitment from every member.
  4. NFLC will form eight groups from Muyira parish to which it will offer support.
  5. He emphasized record-keeping as a very essential aspect for the farmer to see whether they are making a profit or not.
  6. NFLC works and collaborates with extension workers in the district to help the farmers.
  7. Mr. Wony a Korean volunteer has planned to revamp the computer lab so that the juveniles from Kampiringisa Rehabilitation Center can benefit from computer skills.
